They say that sometimes the journey is more interesting than the destination. This couldn’t have been truer for Buddha. The world today knows him as
Boys will be boys but girls need to have better sense in Love. But didshe? May be not.
\nHere’s an excerpt from the story:\n\nThe only thing that is worse for an Indian mother than her husband having an affairor her son doing drugs is her daughter falling in love. Matters are not serious if it isher son who is in love; boys will be boys but girls need to have better sense. I was the class topper. It was a position I held with hard work and pride. For the lifeof me, I couldnt understand how a person could be so apathetic to his education. Ihated Sidhe represented all that I hate in a person: money, power, laziness andirresponsibility.\n\nInitially, his antics made me miss heartbeats.I would look on, shocked, unable to comprehend his stupidity. Then, slowly, itbecame a routine and I learned to ignore it. Though I gazed at him greedily, from thecorner of my eyes, I pretended as if I didnt notice him at all. I felt his eyes on me allday. I snubbed him.\n\nIn school, I steadily ignored him. At home, I stealthily longed for him.\n\nAbout the author:\n\nArchanaSaratis a freelance writer and author since the last tenyears. She shuttles between Chennai and Mumbai and loves both citiespassionately. Her works are published in various popular newspapers andmagazines like The Times of India, The Economic Times, The SEBI and CorporateLaws Journal, The CA Newsletter, Me Magazine, the Science Reporter, the ChickenSoup for the Soul series, the Vengeance Anthology, among others.Thougha Chartered Accountant by qualification,Archanahas decided that shewould keep cooking up tales as long as she can get away with it. She lives with herhusband and two sons. Her debut novel Birds of Prey has just released.\n\nCheck out her blog\n\nBuy Jukebox from Amazon and show us some love!\n
