Prachi Garg – the person, the author\n\nPrachi Garg is an author, traveller, and an entrepreneur.\n\n\"\"\n\nShe started www.ghoomophiro.com, an enterprise where the team organizes corporate tours based on the customers requirements, budget and provide them a bouquet of options. This initiative was taken up by her during college days. Recently ghoomophiro expanded its portfolio for women solo travel. She has also delivered workshops on entrepreneurship at major B-schools (FMS/IIMs/MirandaHouse/IMT) and her start-up has been covered by Yyourstory/IndianExpress/Femina/idiva. She has been featured as top 10 Indian women, who made big online, and women’s web saw her as an incredible women entrepreneur. She also authored book Superwomen, book that talks about the journeys of women entrepreneurs, and the book has been constantly topping the non-fiction charts at various book stores. Her latest book \”Supercouples\” is about couple-preneurs and their journey of balancing the relationship and work.\n\nPrachi kick-started a journal ‘Managing Minds,’ which caters to the need of Tier II & Tier III MBA aspirants. She is a featured author at Yourstory.com. She has been associated with EETindia group, DDNews and has been freelancing for HT Horizons for quite sometime. She likes travelling, theatre, and writing. \n\nBesides a computer science graduate from Miranda House, University of Delhi, she is an alum from Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai.\n\nWhy do you write?\n\nI write, because it helps me evolve, makes me more mature and gives me freedom to express. I recall my childhood day when I used to write as a medium to express my opinion in various letters to editors.\n\nWhat made you write this book?\n\nBoth of my books – Superwomen and Supercouples belong to nonfiction genre. Superwomen describes the journey of women entrepreneurs who made it big at an early age of 25-30 years, while Supercouples is the story of couples who planned to take up their life partners as their co-founders in their startups. Both books talkabout the challenges, ups and downs and their ways to cope it up.\n\nSuperwomen happened while I was working on my startup, I was curious to know how women entrepreneurs respond to the challenges while Supercouples happened out of my curiosity and wish to see how the chemistry between couples results in successful startups.\n\nAbout the book\n\n\"\"In an era booming with the Start-up trend and loving this new attitude of breaking boundaries and conventions of a career, one also faces the challenge of being able to partner up with the right people. In lieu of reliable and trustworthy partners, real life couples in relationships have started exploring the idea of partnering up in business too! Speaking to various couple-preneurs, one realizes that the myth about mixing work and home is just as misty as the one about needing a stable and conventional job for an ambitious career. These dynamic start-ups break stereotypes and cover a varied range of services: e-commerce, innovative gifts, eco-friendly products, health care solutions, social responsibility ventures, event management, digital solutions and many others. SuperCouples brings out such lovely stories of enterprising couples. After all, when great minds come together to produce something built on conjoined dreams, the result is eminently successful, lucrative and deeply satisfying.\n\nWhat do you think the readers will love about this book?\n\nAs per the feedback, amazon reviews I received, I realized readers found my books inspiring and they could relate them to the real life.\n\nIs there a writing schedule that you follow? How do you deal with writer’s block?\n\nI go out, listen to good music to come out of my writers block. I prefer writing during early mornings or late nights. I also try to get all my thoughts on pen and paper before I type.\n\nYour advice to aspiring authors\n

Do not get disheartened with rejections work on the feedback.

\nIn case you do not find a publisher, self-publishing is also a good platform to get started. These days, apart from being a writer, it is important to be a good marketer as well, so that you can make your book visible amongst the right audience. Social Media these days is coming really handy.\n\nPrachi’s favourite books and authors\n\nI love writing that has some inspiration attached to it. Hence Sudha Murthy and Paulo Coelho are always my favourites.\n\nConnect with Prachi on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram\n\nAuthor(s): Prachi Garg\nPublisher: Srishti Publishers & Distributors\nRelease: February 2017\nGenre: Non fiction/Business\n\nBuy fromAmazon Please use the affiliate link below & share the love!\n\n\n\nBook lovers can Contribute articles & join our Review program to receive review copies of new release books. And if you are an author, share about you & your book(s) in Authors corner & do take a look at our unique community approach to Book Marketing.!
